The Mississippi Society for Blacks in Political Service ( MS BIPS) is a non-partisan professional and networking association for Mississippi’s African American political and public servants. The mission of MS BIPS is to provide networking, professional, and leadership development opportunities for African American professionals involved in policy, government, law, and community/non-profit work. We are dedicated to providing opportunities in career development and leadership training experiences for African American college students who aspire to attain careers in political and public service. We furthermore work to encourage the state community’s civic participation, and to provide resources and programs that inspire Mississippians to be community-active and politically engaged.
